Carrier-Assisted Phase Retrieval

Phase-retrieval (PR) schemes based on the modified Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) algorithm capture full-field employing a dispersive element and intensity-only measurements to eliminate use of local oscillator. In this work, we propose two carrier-assisted PR schemes, namely central (CCA-PR) edge (ECA-PR), improve comprehensive performance receiver in terms convergence speed, redundancy, computational complexity. The proposed CCA-PR recovers electrical field reference direct current carrier with several iterations between projection planes.
